EyeOpenR end of year additions

Did you know that users have the option to run two default autoreports in EyeQuestion, based on the analytical tools from EyeOpenR. Depending on the type of collected data, both default autoreports have a number of analyses available. Whilst the Word autoreport uses EyeOpeneR Classic to analyse and print the data, the excel autoreport uses EyeOpenR and can be fully customized to use one or more of the available EyeOpenR analytical options.

EyeOpeneR Classic uses basic R packages for the used analyses while EyeOpenR is fully validated by QI Statistics and is kept updated based on any alterations found in statistical and sensory science. Please contact EyeQuestion support for more information regarding creating custom excel autoreports.

The past year a lot of effort has gone into improving our analytical tool EyeOpenR. Not only have new analysis been added and existing ones expanded with additional analytical options, but an exciting new feature has been created in EyeQuestion which uses the full power of EyeOpenR, the Data Dashboard. The Data Dashboard can be customized by us to provide the project manager with live data from one or more analyses as gathered from the project.

A demonstration was presented during the Pangborn conference and was gladly met with a lot of enthusiasm. There are two versions of the dashboard ; a Statistical Dashboard and a Data Mining Dashboard. The dashboard can be used in version 4.8 and up of EyeQuestion.

During the past few months we have improved EyeOpenR to make it more user friendly by adding some new functionalities. The user is able to switch to a previously done analysis by selecting it from the drop down after an analysis has been done.

Furthermore, we have expanded the amount of export options and have added the option to split on questions and to use a custom query.

New analyses have been added, such as the Time Intensity analysis and the R-Index for Ranking. The Data Represenation export has been added as a method so users are able to view and export their data without any statistical treatment. Apart from these new additions we have also improved existing analyses by adding a 3D PCA plot to our PCA analysis and pMSE option to our Panelist Analysis. It is also possible to anonymise the panelist name so it will not be displayed in the results.

EyeQuestion 4.9 will make it possible to merge project data in EyeOpenR by adding additional projects to the project tree and selecting to either merge or not merge attributes, products and assessors.
